Attention please - wrong phone number in flyers!!!
We were mortified to discover that some of the flyers we passed out at the Eugene Celebration had an incorrect contact phone #.  The correct number is 345-6466 (not 345-3466!!!)  We apologize for the error and if you've made it this far, we hope you try calling again!

Eugene Celebration 2006
We had a great time at our Eugene Celebration booth in September. The rocking horse was a popular attraction, and we had great conversations with all kinds of folks. If you met us there and would like to know more, we'd love to see you at an intro meeting.

Introductory Meetings
For the date and location of our next introduction, please call Martin Henner at (541) 345-6466.

We are a group of people who have come together to develop an urban cohousing community. We have acquired a quarter-block lot at the corner of Lincoln Street and 11th Avenue in downtown Eugene, Oregon, where we plan a mixed-use residential and commercial project. Twenty-four units of private housing – ranging from one-bedroom flats to four-bedroom townhouses – and common facilities will be arranged around a beautifully landscaped open-air plaza. Residents will have car and bicycle parking spaces under the three-story building, with visitor parking at the periphery.

The project is currently in its final engineering design phase. We hope to break ground by the end of 2006 or early 2007.

Our site is located in Eugene's downtown residential district, the diverse Jefferson-Westside neighborhood. It is a short walk from the impressive new Eugene Public Library, the Hult Center – a world-class performing arts complex – a variety of stores and services, parks, the Willamette River, miles of biking and running paths, and the main bus and train stations.

The location and design of our community will appeal to anybody who is interested in:

  • Enjoying the benefits of community while maintaining private living space
  • Living downtown, close to Eugene's many amenities
  • Decreasing the time and money spent maintaining personal living space by using shared workout room, workshop, party room, guestrooms, and a library
  • Increasing the amount of time you can spend on what's really important to you

We welcome you to an introductory meeting to learn more about this exciting project! If there are no upcoming meetings listed in the News section of this page, then please contact us for more information.
